  • 1 apple chopped
  • 1 tsp coconut oil extra virgin
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 cup Organic Rolled Oats
  • 2 cups almond milk
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 tsp maple syrup

  • Start by chopping apples into cubes.
  • In a small pot, add the coconut oil and heat until slightly melted.
  • Add apples into pot and sprinkle with cinnamon. Simmer until softened for about 7-10 minutes.
  • In the same pot, add oats, milk and maple syrup. Whisk to combine.
  • Simmer oats for about 7-10 minutes, or until desired oatmeal consistency. Add more maple syrup and a sprinkle of cinnamon to preferred taste.
  • Pour into bowl and top with pecans and enjoy. (Optional)

Apples can be fried separately if that's your preference.
You can also fry extra apples to top the oatmeal, or have as a side later.
Oatmeal can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 days. Just add a splash of milk, or water, to bowl when heating.
