- 1 1/4 Cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 Cup whole wheat flour
- 1 Tbsp cocoa powder unsweetened
- 2 Packets Carnation Breakfast Essentials Chocolate Flavor
- 1 Tbsp baking powder
- 3/4 Tsp salt
- 1 Cup almond milk unsweetened
- 1/4 Cup canola oil
- 1 Tsp vanilla extract
- 1 Tbsp butter
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flours, cocoa powder, protein packets, baking powder and salt.
In a small bowl, whisk together the almond milk, vanilla, and canola oil.
Pour wet mixture into the dry mixture, mixing until very few lumps appear. Careful not to over mix.
Heat the butter in a nonstick frying pan over medium heat.
Spoon pancake batter into the pan.
FLip pancakes when bubbles start to form.
Enjoy immediately, or freeze for later.
Garnish with your favorite fruits, chocolate chip, and/or maple syrup.
