Great Wolf Lodge Water Park For First Timers
If you’ve been following along, you know that I am all about saving time and money. Spending the entire day at Great Wolf Lodge, not only made our hearts happy, but would also save the family tons of cash by having everything you need to enjoy right there with you!
When we arrived to Great Wolf Lodge, we were super excited. We kept the destination a surprise and the kids had no idea what they were in for, except that we were going on a road trip. There are 17 locations all across North America and we were grateful to have the chance to visit the LaGrange location in Georgia – about two hours away from Atlanta.
Upon entering the resort, you are greeted by a huge play place known as the Great Wolf Adventure Park. Complete with an arcade, a mini bowling alley, rock climbing and a rope course that goes along the ceiling – you know you’re in for a good time! Kids can also enjoy a MagiQuest adventure, where they get to use interactive magic wands to discover relics and runes needed to defeat goblins and dragons.
More fun can be discovered in the lobby of the hotel where kids can meet and greet with the characters, grab candy from the Great Wolf Lodge Candy Company and engage in complementary activities throughout the day, including StoryTime.
We primarily hung out at the water park all day and by the end of it all, we still didn’t want to leave! From water slides, family raft rides and the lazy river – we were sure to enjoy every bit of the water park’s offerings. Don’t worry, there are restrooms with showers, stands with towels available to you and lockers available to rent; so that you can fully enjoy yourself hassle-free.
